4. Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

The software or programs used by the Platform, and all content on the website, including but not limited to works, pictures, files, information, materials, website architecture, arrangement of website screens, and web design, are legally owned by the Platform or other rights holders, including but not limited to trademark rights, patent rights, copyrights, trade secrets, and proprietary technologies.

Special Declaration: You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or use the premium content of this Platform (including but not limited to data charts, research reports, and quantitative indicators) to create competitive services. In case of any violation, the Platform will pursue corresponding legal liabilities according to the law.

5. Suspension or Interruption of Service

The Platform will maintain the normal operation of the system and services using generally reasonable technologies and methods. However, the Platform reserves the right to stop or interrupt the provision of this service under the following circumstances:

When necessary maintenance and construction are carried out on the electronic communication equipment of the Platform's website.
When sudden electronic communication equipment failure occurs.
When the electronic communication service applied for by the Platform's website is suspended and the service cannot be provided.
When the Platform's website cannot provide services due to force majeure factors such as natural disasters or other factors not attributable to the Platform.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The interpretation and application of these Terms of Service, as well as any disputes related to these Terms, shall be handled in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and the Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance jurisdiction.

Privacy

1. Scope of Privacy Policy

Edge Quant Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform") highly values your privacy. This Privacy Policy covers how the Platform handles personally identifiable information collected when you use our website services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to linked websites outside of the Platform, nor does it apply to personnel not commissioned or involved in the management of the Platform.

2. Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

The Platform will never provide, exchange, rent, or sell any of your personal data to other individuals, groups, private enterprises, or public agencies, except where there is a legal basis or contractual obligation. The circumstances of the preceding proviso include but are not limited to:

Refund

1. Nature of Digital Products

The services provided by Edge Quant Technology are "Digital Content" and "Online Subscription Services." Under the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the "Reasonable Exceptions to the Right to Cancel Distance Sales," the services of this Platform belong to "digital content provided via intangible media or online services completed upon provision."

Therefore, once you subscribe and activate the service (i.e., gain reading access or data access), the standard seven-day cooling-off period does not apply. You cannot apply for a full refund based on unconditional return. Please carefully evaluate your needs before subscribing.

2. Subscription Cancellation and Termination

Cancel Anytime: You can cancel your "auto-renewal" at any time through the Member Center or by contacting customer service.
Period of Rights: After canceling your renewal, you can continue to use the service until the end of the "current billing cycle." After the cycle ends, the system will no longer charge you, and your premium membership access will automatically terminate.
No Refunds: For subscription fees that have already been deducted and for the current billing cycle that has already taken effect, we do not offer pro-rated refunds or reimbursement services.

3. Exceptional Refund Circumstances

If the following special circumstances occur, you can contact customer service to apply for a refund:

Duplicate Billing: Due to a system error, the same account was charged multiple times within the same billing cycle.
Service Not Activated: You have completed the payment, but due to a system failure, membership access cannot be activated for more than 48 hours.
